A leading member of the LTTE was arrested in Mannar by counterterrorism officials yesterday (Jan. 25).Military believes him to be behind claymore attacks targeting civilians in Wilpattu and Kataragama in 2006.
Counterterrorism officials in the central province received a tip off about the man.
He is presently under interrogation.
